In response to the disruption caused by COVID-19 in 2020, impacting the education of millions of Indian children, particularly in rural and tribal areas, Mantra4Change used the IFERB project-based learning resources by EAA for low-resource and digitally disconnected communities. Mantra4Change worked in collaboration with 15 organizations to translate, contextualize, and implement IFERB projects in 12 states across India. IFERB projects demonstrated success in supporting basic education, with an average 16.5% increase in student scores from baseline to end line assessments. Significant growth in 21st-century skills (communication, critical thinking, creativity) observed, with an 18.2% average increase.
