As the humanitarian crisis deepens in Ukraine with millions under bombardment and ten million people forced from their homes, Think Equal has designed an intervention in partnership with EAA, and in collaboration with Yale University’s Centre for Emotional Intelligence and The Children and War Foundation to address mental health challenges and ensure productive engagement for children and parents through engaging content modules for distribution both by TV and by digital means. Think Equal has developed an innovative intervention to enable Ukrainian children, youth and adults to be reached at scale during and after the crisis, both within Ukraine and abroad. Three television series were developed as part of this project and offered to the national broadcaster in Ukraine and Poland, as well as in every country in which there is a large presence of Ukrainian refugees who have fled, and are still fleeing, the war. The 3-part TV series is available in Ukrainian, with each series targeted at a distinct group of beneficiaries, with content partners providing their expertise and tools.

Innovations Development Directorate

Innovation Development in EAA works towards identifying persistent challenges in global education, designing and developing innovative solutions to make learning accessible to all, particularly to the hardest-to-reach children and youth in underserved communities. We created IFERB, an award-winning learning approach with diverse and engaging resources to help children learn from the world around them.
